Born from the open hardware movement
Novelty Factor Technologies LLC exists because smart home hardware shouldn't be a black box. We design around open firmware (ESPHome) and open protocols, so every device we ship stays useful, inspectable, and hackable long after we've moved on to the next one.
Stream Daddy and Stream Kiddo are our first two devices, built for whole-home audio streaming - and they're just the start. More open smart home hardware is already in the works.
